The Dutch Scouting club celebrated their 100th birthday – and how!
Together with 5 other cameramen, I filmed a big show at the Utrecht Jaarbeurs.
They did all kind of activities in the whole city of Utrecht, but the real thing was going down in the Jaarbeurs. There was a big show for the kids to watch, including a play of the Junglebook and a performance by the famous Nick & Simon.
We were asked by Improve, who did the direction of the show and the lights, to help film the event, for live registration and to be projected on large screens in the hall. MGV Helmond did the technical video support, they had the camera’s and the video-truck. Yeah, professional stuff was going on there.
Following upon the filming at the Mooi Weer Spelen last year, the short video has now been edited (With the kind help of Invite-AV). A video which shows what diversity of acts perform at the Mooi Weer Spelen, and how nice the atmosphere is throughout the whole festival. So if you like street performances, and you are near Delft during the 4th, 5th and 6th of June, just go to the city centre and get amused.
4Delft is an art exposition featuring art work which was inspired on the city of Delft. The art was exposed on 4 locations throughout Delft; the Prinsenhof, DOK Kunst, 38CC and WAD. The video was meant for use on websites, and a dvd was given to all the participating exposition locations.
“The Perspectivity Game creates a lesson from experience in the social dynamics of sustainability issues.”
A great concept, of which people can learn. A board game played with a group. It is hopefully beneficial for the players, in a way that it will change their behaviour.
During a sunny weekend, O2 Nederland played the game. I was asked to film it, with the purpose of creating a promotional video of the game.
The Skatejam is a skate/inline/bmx competition, an event held every year. This year the organisation hired a huge LED video screen. We also got a live multi-cam setup, and we were ready to film. I also made a nice animation loop, for times there wasn’t a competition going on.
For the upcoming Club van Delft reportage, I already shot some additional footage. The lads from Filmhuis Lumen (an art house cinema in Delft) showed me how the film projector works, and they let me make loads of footage.
Because I got so much nice footage, and not everything will be used for the reportage, I thought it would be nice to make a small video. It shows quite well how everything works, and I guess that a lot of you always wanted to know how the film projector works. At least, I always wanted to know.
This week we will be filming the interviews, so the reportage will be online in a couple of weeks!
